Your numbers are already in Exact Online. You just need to get to them.
Exact Online invoices and books your subscriptions, but it doesn't calculate MRR (monthly recurring revenue), churn (cancellations) or NRR (revenue retention from existing customers). That's why many businesses export every month and recalculate in Excel.

Your subscriptions, terms, amounts and changes: new customers, upgrades, downgrades and cancellations.
General ledger
Your financial administration: profit and loss, balance sheet, ledger accounts, costs per cost centre and your open receivables and payables.
CAC comes straight from your general ledger: RecurBoard adds up your marketing and sales costs through the cost centres in Exact Online. Not using cost centres yet? You set them up once.

Connect Exact Online
Log in with your Exact Online account and give RecurBoard read access via OAuth, Exact Online's secure login method. You never share your password.

Choose your administration
Select which administration(s) you want to connect. RecurBoard fetches your subscriptions, changes and general ledger.

Your dashboard is ready
MRR, churn, NRR and your financial reports are calculated. From now on RecurBoard syncs every hour.
Security and privacy
Your administration stays yours.
RecurBoard looks, but can't change anything. The connection is built to the same standards we previously set up at Exact Online itself.
Official Exact Online API
We use Exact Online's REST API and OAuth login. We don't store Exact passwords.
Read-only
RecurBoard never writes to your administration. Invoices, entries and subscriptions stay untouched.
Encrypted
Data is sent and stored encrypted, with least-privilege access as the starting point.
Separated per administration
Each administration is shielded from other users. You decide who sees what.
GDPR and data processing agreement
We sign a data processing agreement and you can have your data deleted at any time.
Revoke the connection
You can revoke the connection yourself at any time. RecurBoard then stops fetching data.

No. The connection is read-only and runs through Exact Online's official OAuth login. RecurBoard reads your data and never writes anything back.
How up to date are the numbers?
RecurBoard syncs with Exact Online automatically every hour. Want to know right now, for example just before a meeting? Start a sync with one click.
Which parts of Exact Online do I need?
For your subscription KPIs, RecurBoard uses Exact Online Subscription Management. For your P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, RecurBoard reads your financial administration. If you don't use Subscription Management, Financials still works. For CAC you use cost centres in Exact Online.
How much history does RecurBoard fetch?
All of it. That way trends, cohorts and year-on-year comparisons are right from day one. How far back you can look in the dashboard depends on your RecurBoard plan.
